Never sign a build blind

Every engagement is a rung on one ladder: a small, paid step that produces something you own and earns the next. You buy confidence in increments — and each fee credits toward the rung after it — so neither of us commits big before we both know it's right.

How the money works

Built so you're never asked to gamble

Each rung is a smaller yes

Every step is its own paid engagement with its own deliverable. You commit to one rung at a time — never to a six-figure build on a hand-wave.

Fees credit forward

Continue within 30 days and 100% of your Discovery or Audit fee credits toward Planning. Momentum is never taxed twice.

Numbers firm up as design does

Front-door estimates are explicitly indicative; the committable price arrives with the Planning Sprint's Statement of Work, after the design work that makes it trustworthy.

Why we sell it this way

The ladder is the differentiator

Plenty of studios ship fast with senior engineers — we do too, and it's table stakes. What's genuinely ours is the structure: an underserved slot between build agencies with sales-motion discovery and consultancies priced for enterprises.

A paid diagnostic, on purpose

Free discovery is a sales motion — its job is a signed build contract. A paid first step changes the incentive: you're buying the verdict, not the pitch, and an honest "don't build this" is on the menu.

You own every document

The definition, the audit, the architecture, the Statement of Work — all yours, written to be usable with any team. Leverage you keep for every future negotiation, including ones without us.

We want the half-built project

Most agencies avoid inherited codebases; rescuing them is one of our front doors. We plan from where your code is today, not from zero — continuity over clean-slate theater.

Founder-led delivery

The person you meet in the first session is on delivery, not a sales layer that vanishes after signing. Senior judgment is the product — it doesn't get delegated.

Adding AI to an existing product?

The same ladder applies — and it's the motion behind our BSP Blueprint engagement, not a hypothetical. It starts with a Build Audit of what you have.

A fit check, honestly

The ladder works when these hold

  • There's a realistic build budget behind the idea, not only the diagnostic fee
  • We're talking to the person who can actually commit
  • There's a coherent product goal, not an unfocused wish list
  • For audits: we can get real access to the code and infrastructure

If they don't, the honest move is to say so and point you somewhere useful — a diagnostic you can't act on isn't worth selling you.

Tell us what you're holding

An idea or a codebase — either way, the first step is small, paid, and yours to keep.
